A1 Team Germany take first Sprint race win

A1 Team Germany has taken its first Sprint race win putting the car on pole for the later Feature race. With the first three cars clearing the first corner and pulling away from the pack to maintain their positions throughout the race, the battle for positions came in the middle of the pack as a damaged Great Britain car held off the continuous pressure of A1 Team Italy to take eight place on the Feature race grid. Collisions saw Singapore, Malaysia and Lebanon fail to finish while gear box problems spoiled the good fortune experienced so far this weekend for A1 Team Ireland.
