Schumacher to test slicks at Ferrari next week

Michael Schumacher will return in Ferrari's F2008 cockpit next week at Circuit de Catalunya. The German was invited by the Italian team to test the team's car with Bridgestone's slicks for a day at the Spanish track.
A Ferrari F1 spokesperson told GPUpdate.net: "Michael Schumacher will be testing with our team on Wednesday. He will mainly focus on the development of slick tyres - the tyres that will be used in 2009. Felipe Massa will be testing on Monday and Tuesday while Kimi Raikkonen will be in the car on Thursday."
For Schumacher it will be the second time this year he will be testing with the Ferrari Formula One team.

Que Michael Schumacher se suba a un monoplaza es noticia. No le pasa lo mismo a ningún otro piloto probador, y es que hay quien sigue añorando ver al alemán pilotando un Fórmula 1. La próxima semana, sobre la pista española de Montmeló, ejercerá de su ocasional puesto de probador de Ferrari, con el F2008.
El piloto de 39 años (que sin embargo no parece dispuesto a entrar en la crisis de los 40) probará sobre el monoplaza de la presente temporada los niveles de la próxima, mediante simuladores de carga aerodinámica y los últimos desarrollos de Brisgestone con neumáticos lisos.
Kimi Räikkönen y Felipe Massa también estarán presentes en las pruebas de Barcelona, justo antes del gran premio de España. El brasileño Massa pilotará los dos primeros días, mientras que el finlandés Räikkönen tomará el relevo el tercero.
