A1GP World Cup of Motorsport championship leaders, A1 Team Germany, lent a helping hand to the series’ organisers today at Sentul, but probably not in the way you’d expect.

As our exclusive photos show, Germany’s star driver Nico Hülkenberg used his driving skills on a forklift-truck to help move one of the 15 car racks into position in advance of this weekend’s race.

The 10-tonne capacity forklift was a little larger than the ones Nico is used to using in his father’s warehouse back in Germany. When he’s not racing the 550-bhp A1GP cars, the 19-year-old German works in the family business in Emmerich, close to the Dutch border, helping move freight. In fact, while other drivers were enjoying the sun on the Indonesian beaches, between the Sepang and Sentul races, Nico returned to his day job in the family business.

As you'll see, he’s clearly been well-trained.

Sentul - Schedule
The weekend’s racing action kicks off with the rookie driver and developing nations’ session on Friday 8 December from 11.00 to 12.00. All teams can take part in the later practice session from 14.00 to 15.00. Final practice and qualifying for the Sprint race will take place on Saturday 9 December, with the Sprint and Feature races scheduled for Sunday 10 December at 11.00 and 15.00 respectively.

Sentul - Circuit Information
The Sentul International Circuit is a motor racing circuit located in Citeureup, Bogor, Indonesia. The circuit has been predominantly used for bike racing and the Asian F3 series. Sentul is a fast, wide track with very high speeds. The huge corners have seen some excellent racing, enabling varied racing lines. This is a very hot part of the world, extremely humid, very distressing to both riders and drivers. Riders often find that just completing the race is tough enough.[citation needed]

History
The first serious attempt outside Japan of constructing an Formula One circuit in Asia came in Indonesia about fifteen years ago when Hutomo Mandala Putra, son of president Suharto, was behind the construction of a track at Sentul. At 4.12 km, the Sentul International Circuit was supposed to be Indonesia's Formula One showcase to the world-until the 1997 Asian financial crisis kicked in. Completed in 1994, the facility has been overcome by technological changes, making it unsuitable to the fast and furious world of Formula One. But it was fine for the drivers competing in the 4th leg of the Pertamina Fastron Asian Formula 3 Super Series.

Bueno que susto me he llevado pongo el live timming y apareca como piloto de alemania un tal Marco holzer que corria en la F BMW con Nico es debutante y ademas 2 años mas joven que Nico, pero joder a quedado el 20.

Please note: A1 Team Singapore’s main driver, Christian Murchison, has not signed-on to drive in the A1GP Sentul, Indonesia. During a training session last week, he aggravated an existing back injury and has been advised by his doctor not to race this weekend. Unfortunately A1 Team Singapore has not been able to find a reserve driver in this time and as a result, will not be running this weekend.

Acaban de empezar y ya esta nico sobre el asfalto joder que susto pense que iva mal el coche 2 vueltas y solo sexto pero en la 3ª ya es 2º, ahora acaba de bajar otra vez y es 6º con 1,18.689a +0.445 ( parece que este circuito no se va a dar TB como Malasia. aunque solo se a dado 3 vueltas, igual esta poniendo a punto el coche ,provando diferentes setup)
